During my visit to Accra Ghana, I’ve had the immense pleasure of connecting with various start ups and entrepreneurs operating in different spaces and industries. A few weeks ago, I was tagged in an article about a young innovator named Kelvin Odartei Cruickshank! Kelvin at only 17 years old created a fully electric car using scrap materials and local materials available to him, but his work was so inspiring it captured the attention of Nas Daily in a video that pegged him the “Elon Musk of Africa”. https://lnkd.in/g2xeWxM Last night I had the opportunity to have dinner with Kelvin and his team, and I left feeling inspired. Not only has he conjured up more innovative systems and tools but he’s actually in the process of training and developing more youth in innovation and tech. We want to do everything possible to get Kelvin an opportunity to intern with a top Innovation firm and or meet a couple people from Tesla.
